We invite you to contribute toward providing a home and education for children in Tibet. Through our Sponsorship Program, you can help ensure a child will lead a happy, fulfilled life in his or her native land. You can also contribute to Tibetan Home of Hopeâs General Fund to assist in our general upkeep and needed improvements. We also welcome inquiries on volunteering.
Dormitory Needed Urgently: We are in urgent need of a second dormitory. Tibetan Home of Hope expects to receive more than 20 children from Yushu Province which was devastated by an earthquake in April, 2010. We are thankful for the opportunity to give these children a loving, secure home and education. We are unable to help without a new dormitory.
$75,000 will build a solar heated dormitory to house 100 children. Included in the cost is retrofitting our existing 3 buildings with solar heating, thus eliminating the dangerous and polluting coal stoves currently used.
School Fund: The school at Tibetan Home of Hope is currently equipped to teach kindergarten through third grade. Help us better supply our K-3 facility as our younger student body grows.
Educational Sponsorship:
Educational sponsorships of $800 annually will send a child to school in the local village of JianZha from grades 4 - 12. College sponsorships of $1500 annually will pay for tuition and a student's cost of living.
Full Sponsorship of a Child: $800 annually will provide a child with a loving home, clothing, education, and medical needs.
Support a Teacher: $500 annually
Support a staff member: $350 annually.
Provide Medical Supplies: $50 quarterly
Donations to our general fund will assist in the daily upkeep of our grounds, greenhouses & farming programs as well as any unseen urgent needs.
